Reading

I know it’s probably hard to believe but I haven’t read a book in 15 years.

What r u studying

Applied technology. USM took all my credits from community college. It’s all online. Takes me about 15 hours a week. Three more semesters and I’ll be done with my bachelors. I’ll probably go ahead and get my MBA afterward. I just felt like I was wasting a lot of time and needed to do something productive. To the person that said doing this at 27 tough, the new age college stuff is a cake walk. Everything is set up to ensure your grades will be good enough to meet scholarship and loan/grant criteria. You’ve got to try, but an 81 is a B.

I used to read books. Constantly. I was voracious. I spent my youth gallivanting through pages and worlds.

Then I discovered Tigerdroppings

I got out of the habit of reading too in my late 20s or early 30s but I've gotten back into always having something I'm currently reading. It helps that 99% of television is absolute shite too

I’ve never considered it a “hobby”, but I’ve always been a, as you say, “voracious” reader, primarily, though not exclusively, history books. I’m currently early onto this book…

… so far it’s outstanding.

This has been bothering me. I need a good hobby. Usually once I start pursuing one, I get bored with it quick.

Oh, and I don't have much extra money. That's a major factor too.

I’ve been thinking seriously about doing a Chem E Masters online. I worry my brain isn’t what it used to be though.
