Our sitting POTUS is literally responding to national security in the same manner that a 16 year old girl would. How does that not bother people regardless of party affiliation? Either it's a real threat or it's not. In the extremely likely event that nothing happens, why would a president openly incite hysteria?
You fools would be off the fricking reservation if a Democrat was sitting in office tweeting threats and you all know it.
I can agree with this. He's an amateur.

I think we should wait until the solar eclipse before we bomb them.

TJGator is a libertarian I assume. He's probably smarter than most of you think.

I think war is almost a given now but if the following would happen...maybe not.
We should immediately stop conducting the annual war games that we conduct with the South Koreans.
Sign a non-aggression pact with the NKs guaranteeing that we will not attack if we are are not attacked.
Begin pulling out American troops and send them back to the States.
Lift all sanctions

We should put 30,000 marines on Guam so it will tip over, then when the threat passes, we tip it back over...
That's how it works, right?

If we do that, DPRK takes the South...the South counts on us to defend them...it would be nice to do what you say, but it would take a 5 years for South to arm it appropriately

The south has a large and capable military. Our presence there is small compared to their numbers. Their army alone is something like 500,000 active(for comparison our active army is 460,000) and 3 million reserve while we have around 30,000 total over there. The north isn't the only one that's been training.
quote:
The army consists of 495,000 troops, approximately 2,400-2,500 tanks, 2,700 armored fighting vehicles, 5,800 artillery pieces, 60 guided missile systems, and 600 helicopters as of 2014.

If he had a nickel every time this has been said with NK, I'd be a rich person.

I think that if NK tried anything our defense systems would put an end to it within a couple of minutes. I bet we have unused technologies that we dont want to use yet and don't want to waste on NK.
The threat isn't going to hurt US citizens, i think our govt just doesn't want to waste it's new toys on NK and save them for Russia or china. A real threat.

Kim Jung Un may be a wacky dictator but id bet that even he knows what would happen if he ever used a nuclear weapon.
This is about self preservation. Nukes are the best form of deterrence one can have.

So Trump warns the little man about threatening us and so he now threatens Guam. I think the little guy knows Trump isn't bluffing.
