I fear for S korea. However if fatboy kim lobs even a pokemon card at s korea much less a US territory or mainland the hell that will rain down on him will end turribl for NK. He believes he is a deity and he thinks he is bulletproof. I hope we wait and continue sanctions and try to convince we dont war. America doesnt want war. But if he chooses to launch an icbm at us or allies he will be eliminated.

Boot army won't be involved in this war. We'll finally see that the Air Force and Navy are the only things that matter.

No invasion, just straight tactical dominance. Leave the Army and Marines behind and let the real dominant forces blow them away.

Mud checks will be reserved for Waco, Texas.

Where you're fricking up is assuming that because I acknowledge that North Koreans are not there by choice I must also support doing nothing about them. If they nuke any of our territory or our allies I would support flattening their country.

I'm not arguing with him, just making a general comment. I would like to see if his convictions would hold if he lost his passport in another country. He took it as an argument for some odd reason.

Of course the world and america would rather do nothing. But why wait until they launch? That would be dumb.

That's exactly what many of the top military minds in the 1930's were saying about the "next war". Then...

Then the atomic age came and the best and brightest once again heralded the end of land warfare. But...

As long as there is a thing called "war", there will be the need to do two things, (1) sieze land and (2) hold land. That's something no plane or sub will ever be able to do.

The first 48 hours would be horrific to S. Korea..after that it would be done within 72 hours.

North Korea is 1/6 the size of Texas. Their military capability is pretty limited. They are not able to reach the US. If they attack a US base, the US can literally wipe them out in seconds.

To some degree I think the NK stuff is a distraction. It's going to be the same ole shite. "OMG that crazy fat a-hole in NK wants to attack the US". People get worked up about it and then something new happens and you don't hear much about NK until there isn't much else to report on.

I wish we could go back to 200 years ago rules and duke this out. Those 5 ft tall fishhead eating mother frickers would not stand a chance. They still don't but we just don't want to kill millions in the process.
