I can't speak for how things are now, but when I was in the army Korea was a hardship tour, meaning no dependents.

Trump is a crazy, brash, ill mannered, trust fund baby; however he will not start a nuclear war.

I think it would be difficult to justify a preemptive nuclear strike and I'm not confident Kim even has the capability to hit Guam. I wouldn't have a problem with preemptively striking his nuclear facilities and killing the regime using more limited options which are still highly capable of performing the job.

That was just Area 1 but I think even they have allowed command sponsorship in recent years.

I think the only way to really make the threat of nuclear weapons from them go away is to do this:

1. Demand that they denuclearize
2. Threaten to destroy their facilities and reassure them that regime change is not what we want.
3. Threaten them (behind closed doors like we did with Iraq in 91) with nuclear war if they attempt to invade SK or launch an armed ICBM
4. Go to DEFCON 2
5. Destroy their production infrastructure with an overwhelming and sudden strike.

Ah, OK. I figured things might be different now.

It's not. NK is going to become a nuclear power and be at the bargaining table. The US and SK are not going to agree on an "acceptable amount of human casualties" regarding a preemptive strike. NK more than likely knows their use of such a weapon would be their destruction. Even precision strikes on military sites in NK would result in them raining hell fire in SK. People are going to be living with the fact that NK has nuclear weapons.

I hate to agree with him, but I don't see how you can think Trump is not a true sociopath. Seriously, he has all the qualities.

He is a trust fund spoiled a-hole who received $6 million from his dad after he graduated college to "build his empire". An Empire in which he "beat the system" by filing for bankruptcy three times.

In the 80s, he had a big part in the USFL failing.

Also, him "playing the system" by filing bankruptcy multiple times is no different than people who cheat the system to get government assistance, etc. The one thing he is good at doing is marketing. He understands the basic rule that the more people hear something, the more likely they are to believe it.

Everything he does is based on perception he is nuttier than squirrel shite.

This shite is just like two assholes in high school talking about fighting or getting laid. Saying how often, how big and how well they can. Bunch of talk but neither one actually knows what it's like.
