The only correct answer is to research breeds and pick one that fits your individual personality. With that being said; any a-hole can take any breed of dog and turn it into a similar a-hole. Some breeds just make better assholes than others.
Personally, I prefer a rescue pit mix - but that's not for everyone.
My stepmom has always had at least 2 Shi Tzus - and I must say those are the coolest dogs ever. They just roll with the flow. Happiest little frickers on earth. And they don't have those annoying high pitched yappy assed barks.

Old English Bulldog. They look similar to English bulldogs but are more athletic and healthy. They love everyone and everything.

Shelties (Shetland Sheepdog) are awesome. Extremely loyal, compassionate dogs. They enjoy playing but can also calm down and be well behaved.
My family has had them (two of them) from 1990 until May of last year when our last one was put to sleep. The first one lived 16 years, the other 13. We actually got a third one back in 2014 but she had a heart defect and passed away.

I love these threads because EVERY breed gets mentioned even though 80 percent are near impossible to get with extreme fees and going way out of state for them

We got ours from a place in Weatherford. She's been amazing. Extremely smart plus the whole hypo-allergenic thing makes things easy too
Lonestar?
That's where we are getting ours.

So how did it work out with that chunky broad?

You're actually the 2nd person to ask in a couple weeks lol.
She didn't find the thread until like a month later. Showed it all to my current GF who just thought she was nuts, threatened legal action for using her FB pics without her permission (Clearly not the smartest person around) and when she brought that up I blocked her number. Haven't spoken to her since and according to one of my friends who hooked up with a friend of hers, she's gained about another 20 pounds.

Brittany
30-60lb (show lines are smaller, field lines bigger)
Zero aggression
Smart
Great around people
Only caution is mine is hyper when she's well rested, but a sloth on the weekends.

I lol'd at the pixelation on the package.
It was very considerate to respect the dog's modesty.

Cairn terrier gets my vote.

Just got a miniature a month ago. Shaping up to be a great dog.

My sister has a mini australian shepherd. Beautiful dog.
Only complaint I have is that it may have too much energy
It's an awesome dog though
