I had so many down votes throughout this thread and rolled my eyes so hard. I get it we women do things that annoy you men, but the thing about utensils being placed in wrong in the dishwasher, why wouldn't you have the dirtiest part of them sticking up instead of down where the food particles may get trapped in the basket? Just explain that to me please.

the utensils are in a basket with small holes. so no matter how they are stuck in there; they will get clean. leaving knives sticking up are just dumb.

My husband's actually the one who did this first and I just followed. It makes perfect sense that you put them handle standing up but whatever keeps the peace.

Could be worse. My ex would come home and stick the unused portion of her lunch still in the Rubbermaid container in the sink. She didn't have the common courtesy of emptying it out in the trash and rinsing the container out.

Hmmm, she could be doing that on purpose. I will admit it, there are things I know annoy my husband but I do it anyway. Like parking my car in the middle of the garage or close enough to his side to give him just enough to space to squeeze in.

No, she didn't do that on purpose. She did it because she was lazy. That's just foul that you have some nasty leftover food sit in a container when you get home for a few hours before anyone does the dishes, which was usually me.
Edit: I got to the point that I just started throwing away the containers with the nasty leftover lunch inside.
My ex also did this passive aggressive nonsense.

What else can you do when you've asked for certain things to get done around the house and they don't get done? Wth. It's frustrating when you just want a clean house and there are clothes left folded everywhere on couches. It drove me crazy.
