No doubt! Whatever happened to Ramer's? I had thought they closed for renovations and then they never opened back up. :(
Their snoball stand there was awesome too.

The entire Hammond Square mall. What an excellent piece of 80s nostalgia.

The Palace and Howard Griffin? You must be from Monroe/west monroe.
You probably know that Howard Griffin burned down.
It was supposedly started by a derelict.

Mom used to grocery shop at National Food Store.
They gave out S&H Green Stamps.
Got my first guitar with those stamps. Kay acoustic six string. 10 1/2 books. Still have that guitar. Think it was around 1964.

The record shop by Murphy's and Superfresh, can't remember the name. Baileys chicken fingers, Alfalfa video on the corner of college and Perkins. Buddy worked there, we got all the new releases first day.

Paradise Records was the store you're talking about.

Children's Palace by Cortana - I used to think that was the largest toy store on Earth when I was a little kid.
Chi Chi's on the corner of Airline and Florida.
The original LSU student union with the bowling alley and pool tables.

K&B booze was the well brand at The Bengal for Drinkin' with Lincoln. I got wasted on K&B gin and vodka on many Thursdays from August 1991 to May 1993
In 93 at the Bengal, my goto on Thursdays was a pitcher of Gin and OJ. Never noticed it was K&B brand. Awesome.

Gibson's became Howard brothers. I miss Danvers burgers. Anyone remember the bottle shop bar in Monroe?
