I have run across multiple women of different ages... it's always women -never been a man - who did not know that it was Japan and Germany that we fought in World War II. I have no idea who they thought we fought, but they sure sounded surprised as hell that we fought Japan, especially.

Being retarded when it comes to history (US or World) is a fricking epidemic, and is not limited to just the fairer sex.

Everyone should know that but I prefer women that don't care about current events and are more concerned with what actually is going on in their lives.

I taught 7th grade US history one year. A girl raises her hand and asks "how did they know to call them the 'Redcoats' if they didn't have color back then?"

She really thought it was like wizard of oz and the whole world was in black and white until we had color photos and TV.

How did you respond? Did you just stare at her until she was ashamed?

I had a friend, well more like an associate because I refused to be friends with someone this ignorant

But in high school this girl had no idea what 9/11 was seriously. 17 year old about to graduate high school yet did not know what 9/11 was. I wanted to slap her

One of my ex-gfs said even dumber shite. Once when we were stuck in traffic she asked why people always drive slower while driving down an incline.

Another time we were outside of Camp Pendleton and there was a sign that said "tourist information". She asked me why they would give tourists information when they are trying to kill us.

The worst one though was when I said something about Barack and she asked who Barack was. I started laughing and said.....ummmm he is our president. She looked at me and said I thought our presidents name is Obama, he had been in office for over a year at that point!

ETA: She was like 32 when she said these things.
