When it first came out, about 10 of us boys would siit at a table and play some sort of battle royal with the Pokemon TCG. Energy cards weren't used, you just drew your pokemon, put them face up, and blasted the shite out of whoever you wanted with whatever number was on it.

We’d play football at the table using a triangle shaped folded piece of paper. You could kick field goals by holding and thumping the triangle through the goal post made by your opponents hands.

It’s called paper football and if I had to bet both nuts everyone in here knows how to play.

3 flicks (downs) to get it to the edge of the table for a touchdown or yes you kicked a fg.

The best part was squaring it up right in your friend’s face.

I still remember playing with a surplus parachute in elementary school. There were several games the gym teacher would have us play with it. From throwing out 20 kick balls on to the thing and having us bounce them around to making a gigantic tent out of it and having it slowly collapse around us...

It is a game with two teams. We used the school recess field which was divided (using landmarks) into 3 sections. (Picture a much scaled down version of a football field where each end zone is a section, and the area in between is a section.

One person would start in the middle section and everyone else would start in one end zone section or the other. These would try to run from one end zone to the other. As the person in the middle section tackled someone, that person would join as a tackler until everyone was in the middle section. Last person going from end zone to end zone won.

We played a game called Duck Shoot.

Back then you got soda out of the vending machine in paper cups. We would fill the cups up with gravel and throw them at each other.

It was all fun until someone got a cut on the head or a bruise on the face.

We played Viet Nam.....we ran around shooting each other, don't know why we called it Viet Nam other than that's what we saw on TV back in 1971. Teachers made us stop shooting each other back then too

I enjoyed chicken on the monkey bars. I’m short, so it was easy to get above my opponents waist.
