When CO2 flows in the dense phase it has properties of a liquid and gas depending on temperature.
This is correct and is not fully understood, even by so called smart engineers. Because of this misunderstanding, certain types of CO2 compressors are rendered unreliable.

Private school kids are not any smarter than public school kids
I think a lot of parents send their kids to private school as a "show off" type thing. They could live in the safest city, zoned for the best public schools and still pay tens of thousands of dollars a year to send their kids to private.

How's this: Most cabotage ocean shipments out of the US going to another US port must be with a US crew....per the Jones act. There are ways around this however.
Not like there used to be. They have clamped down on a lot of the loopholes. Just went through this on a large project trying to ship modules to Alaska through the Panama canal.

Yeah, we are. My graduating class had a college acceptance rate of 100%. Most of us had academic scholarships to college. We all took college prep classes.
My high school won the Governor's Award for Academics 3 out of the 4 years I was there.

Corporate companies and Private equity groups are buying old vet practices, not changing much about them for a few years and keeping the vets on. So you may still take your pet to the same vet thats actually owned by a corporate company.
These companies have purchasing agreements with the manufacturers of the drugs your pet is prescribed. These corporate companies have those agreements which allow them to buy the same products as your old vet used to, but for much cheaper prices.
So your "local" vet gets bought out because he cant keep up. Corporate companies buy out those old vets, dont need to change too much, and can immediately run a more profitable business in large part because of that buying power.
Thats a much better explanation than your first post - thanks.
Knew the part about vets being bought out. My next door neighbor is a vet. Did not know the prescirption rebate part. Interesting.

Speaking of DOTD waste. A bridge in Houma broke where they needed a manlift. At first it was a simple fix the bridge was going to be out a few weeks. Mind you this is a lift bridge that is stuck in the down position. So they closed it to marine and car traffic.......................Then there is the Company Canal Bridge in Bourg that is supposed to be finished in mid April, a 4 year bridge replacement, nearly a full year behind schedule. I will be shocked when that one opens. If they decide to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony, I want it to be shortest ceremony in history or none at all, just remove the barricades and open it for traffic.
Call Kelly Sills........oh wait...

A Jeep brand vehicle keeps the lights on and salaries paid for mechanics. Specifically Grand Cherokee & Wrangler but there are also a shite ton out there.
Do with that information what you will when buying your next vehicle.

I am not sure if you are trolling, arrogant, or delusional.
You claimed to be more intelligent, but you outlined opportunity over intelligence.

The women's public restrooms are far nastier than the men's public restrooms.
I always envisioned the ladies' restroom as a cornucopia of sensory delights. Wife works retail and says that the women's restrooms are a disgusting atrocity.

Being the conductor of a major symphony orchestra is largely as a layman might imagine it, but there are a few subtly interesting aspects of it you probably haven't thought about.
Injuries to and simple fatigue of the rotator cuffs and deltoids is a major, even career-limiting phenomenon. Your typical major symphony conductor spend at least an hour a day doing exercises like dips, preacher curls, etc. to deal with the strain.
We do have groupies, though they tend to be classy, high-society type chicks and that can get tedious. Even us conductors just want to get drunk on Taaka vodka and Doordash Taco Bell sometimes.
The importation, repair, financing, etc. of large string instruments is dominated by the Uzbeki mafia or "Pentosantalavigna."
A lot of us would really like to use Sousaphones instead of actual Tubas. Once one guy does it, the floodgates will be open and it will bring a whole new richness to your favorite classics.
Timpani players are total degenerates.

Not necessarily true. It depends on the contracts and products.
fair. you can most likely buy a switch, server, or laptop directly from them.
but most often there's a reseller that's just pushing paper and collecting their share. some have value and do installs and support or msp, but i know some people that don't do anything but fulfillment. and clear 6 figures a year never leaving their house.

Opportunity? You mean sitting in a classroom and listening to a teacher speak to learn things? Yeah, that's what we did.

the majority of the work done to detect misstatement on the financial statements of public corporations is conducted by recent college grads in their early 20's.
