Duracell batteries. There’s no place cheaper.

Never buy Duracell at Costco! Buy the cheaper Kirkland batteries, which are Duracell.

The meat, fruit, and vegetables you will buy will have lower prices at Sam's.

This. Costco was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong. I will still shop there but only for certain things like I do at Sam's. The gas pumps are more organized than Sam's. For some reason people at Sam's in Covington love to pull in from the wrong direction.

ETA. The down voter must be one of the people that pulls in the wrong way to get gas at Sam's.

Not really. We have both and I shop at both. Prices are the same. At least in NOLA metro. I will say they usually alternate which one has prime briskets available. Not sure if that's a coincidence or supplier thing. But if one only has choice, the other will usually have prime for the same price.

Organic Jacks Cantina Salsa. Best store bought salsa there is IMO. I’m not an organic food eater but this salsa just happens to be organic.

So do we and I will defer to my wifes knowledge in this area. If she says Sam's has better prices I believe her.

I rarely go to Costco without buying steak, whiskey and a couple cases of water.
The chicken salad and street tacos very very good. Rotisserie chickens are damn good too.
If it's your first trip you should probably get all the household items like detergent, paper products, etc. Prepare yourself for a $500 bill (min)

Yeah, I'm sure it's product specific. I don't buy many fruit or vegetables so she may be right there. I always have used the brisket as my benchmark. I just know I'd go and see $3.99/lb prime at Costco, and the same price at Sam's but a choice grade. Then a few months later it'd be flipped.

Load up on charmin toilet paper, bounty paper towels, a pack of bottled water and a box of easy pop popcorn.

It's been a while since I bought a brisket. My wife shops weekly and that girl knows her prices, but yeah it probably does flip back and forth.

I've heard some of the Kirkland brand booze is pretty good. Never tried it to confirm though
