Best of luck to you.

Exactly, and doing it while a large potion of the SE is fighting through all of this makes you a little tone-deaf...No biggie.
It's always easy to find someone having a bigger struggle than we are, and downplay our shitty days as "petty." There's always someone worse off than the next guy.
However, stress is relative.

Being helpless while getting pounded by a hurricane sucks under any circumstances.
I just got a report. The Florida National Guard has the island closed off.
The historic city of St Augustine (not on an island). Was flooded badly. Extensive damage all over the city.
What a mess.

ok,given. Sticking to the events in the thread, I would say he is not tone-deaf in regards to Stout and that situ. because who knew? But come on, The storm, by which he is being affected, is pretty major news.

Saw video, the streets were flooded. Looked pretty bad.

Often it does..... Typically the most valuable thing is time and cleaning this shite up takes a lot of it.

How many weeks a year do you get your "beach house"?
Posted on 10/7/16 at 9:12 pm to LSUwag
CajunSoldier's kid was cleared of a cancer diagnosis this week.
As a dad, I cannot imagine what he was going through.
It was a tough week, but that was a victory that I will applaud.

We use it nearly every weekend in the summer and once it cools off, in the winter about every other weekend. We also spend our vacation time there and our extended family all use it is well. It gets very well used.
It's not some million dollar mansion like some here are implying. It is a small home that is over 30 years old that I bought cheaply and renovated myself. I worked my arse off for this place and my entire family enjoys the heck out of it.
It means a lot to me because of the sweat equity and because of how great it has been for my entire family. I also really like my neighbors on the street. All are great friends and they all also mean a lot to me. Their house were hit as well. We plan to retire there in just a few more years.

A lot of these people don't understand that these things are a big part of your life. Particularly with the work you put into it. It's not always just a piece of property.

You're so right.
I've followed you on here for quite a while and I see that you are a guy who decided to live life on your terms. I've always tried to do the same thing. I enjoy the outdoors in Florida. I've visited Alaska and can absolutely understand why you live there. I would be happy as a clam to live in a cabin somewhere where I could enjoy the solitude and great outdoors.

Working towards it. Step by step. While Juneau is awesome, I'm headed toward a cabin in a quiet town with as many moose and bears as people.
