You sir are in a unique enviroment, but serious question are the more expensive and do they have crab legs?
Yes, in fact.
Tracy's opened as a food "cart" and added a restaurant. They still have the cart over by the Coast Guard properties, and still utilize it.

I've never been a big fan of food trucks.
Most of them are decent at best. I've eaten at maybe three or four of them where I thought the food was exceptional.

I agree, they got gentrified for the most part. So it's mostly white dudes and progs with a dream that think everyone needs a custom Aioli on a breakfast sandwich.
There's only one I go out of my way for, and the cheesesteak is $16, but all but the biggest plant baws won't be able to finish more than half, and it's damn good. It's simple, but executed very well. It's not at all the equivalent to $16 nachos.
A smash burger for $20 is insane, because you can get one from Smashburger for $5, and a double for $7.

They jumped the shark years ago when the suburban communities found them and the owners realized they could charge whatever they wanted

send an email if you want so I can ask questions, if not it's good. Doesn't have to be today.
Posted on 11/9/25 at 3:09 pm to travelgamer
No worries. Just sent a test email to see if it went through.

Yep, breweries and bars bringing in food trucks that charge more than actual restaurants for warm mediocre food…and everything is a la cart (burger $18, fries $4, tacos $15, chips and salsa $10).
Instead of food trucks being cheaper than brick and mortar, now they also have tons of permits and regulations put on them and charge extra for captive audience and “convenience”

Are they not providing the same service they park outside of, they should pay the same.

‘Cutting the cord’ group are the only ones I know fanatical about food trucks and breweries. Dug your own grave.

Weren’t the point of food trucks that you could minimize overhead and produce good food at affordable prices without locking yourself into brick and mortar? Now we got dudes out here charging twenty fricking dollars for a smash burger and wanting you to pay an extra 3 bucks for fries to go with it. What a disgrace
If there's a line of people paying for it... It's not overpriced.

Didn’t you commit return fraud for a fishing pole?
