Monroe Police are investigating a verbal threat that was made in a song by a convicted murderer. Early Tuesday morning, NaKiyah Clark woke up to several messages warning her of a song that had been made by her ex-boyfriend.
Clark's ex-boyfriend is Eric Nabors. Nabors is a convicted murderer charged with the death of Clark's 2-year-old son, Jermarion Jackson. The incident happened in November 2013.
Nabors made a song titled 'Cut Throat' and uploaded it to YouTube. Clark said the lyrics are disturbing.
"The next time I see NaKiyah I am going to kill her," Clark said, quoting the song. She said she called Monroe Police after hearing the song.
Edit: I didn’t copy enough he’s released from jail for the murder. Nabors was released last week after Judge Larry Jefferson changed the charges from second-degree murder to negligent homicide. Nabors was sentenced to five years with time already served.

Not sure when he released the song, but he's out now.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that Judge Jefferson is not Caucasian.

I don't know about that, but he gave a sweet sentence to a very dirty cop. And:
quote:
A city court judge first, he was removed from the bench by the Louisiana Supreme Court on Jan. 18, 2000 after being formally charged by the Judiciary Commission with four separate counts:
Charge I: ?Judge Jefferson abused his authority as a judge with respect to the City Prosecutor for the Monroe City Court and the Clerk of Court for the Monroe City Court by exceeding his contempt power and/or abusing such contempt power . . .
Charge II: ?Judge Jefferson abused and exceeded his authority as a judge when he banned the City Prosecutor from his courtroom and subsequently dismissed 41 cases. . .
Charge III: ?Judge Jefferson engaged in the unauthorized practice of law in violation of La. R.S. 13:1952, Canons 1, 2, 3A(1) and La. Const. art. V, § 25C, in that he engaged in willful misconduct relating to his official duty and in public conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice.
Charge IV: ?That Judge Jefferson failed to comply with the order of May 28, 1998, issued by the Louisiana Supreme Court, pursuant to which he was relieved of all administrative duties at Monroe City Court. . .
. . .
So he got a 2 yr suspension and was kicked off the city bench, but they didn't take his license to practice law.
So he ran again and got re-elected to City Court. With 62% of the vote.
And then ... "in November 2014, he ran for judge of the 4th Judicial District Court (Ouachita and Morehouse parishes), capturing 61 percent of the vote."
Unbelievable.

Nabors doesn't sound naborly at all.
Negligent homicide? Yeah, sure. I guess it's okay for a grown man to beat a 2-year-old to death as long as he says he didn't intend to kill him. Or maybe the judge thinks the child beat himself to death while Nabors was gone for an hour.
RIP little boy.
quote:
The child suffered major hemorraging at the brain stem, bilateral rib fractures, a lacerated liver from trauma and his lungs and abdomen were filled with blood.
According to an arrest affidavit, the child was in the care of 25-year-old Eric Nabors at the time and the mother last reported seeing him well with Nabors.
. . .
Nabors denied any abuse to the child, saying he left the child at home for approximately one hour, according to the affidavit.
