I wasn’t popular. I was advanced. Girls didn’t like me because I’m really short. I’m a millionaire now and now whores like me! I’ll retire end of the year.

You didn't have to respond to me in the first place. But you wanted to stir it up.
I'm done.

Jocks Cheerleaders
Socials
Freaks
Geeks

Grade school (K-6) didn't have cliques and there certainly weren't any stones. Cliques didn't happen until Jr. High. Actually tailed off a bit in High school. Only cliques in college were frats and sororities for kids who couldn't make friends on their own and missed the clique culture of their past years

I wasn't popular, but i wasn't unpopular either.
I was a nerd, but wrestled so i got to hang with the jocks. I the class clown in a lot of ways. Think Anthony Michael Hall in 16 candles.
I migrated easily amongst all the tribes. My peers voted me "most school spirit" my Sr year....

I was athletic and considered one of the "smart kids". I also hunted, fished, hauled hay, chopped wood, cut grass, etc. Wasn't in any particular group, kind of hung around lots of people but did have 4 or 5 guys that were my best buds. No stoners in our little school to my knowledge. That was in the 70's though. Was I popular? Not sure, but everybody knew me.

I played sports and was a jock but also was friends with the druggies. Best friend was a drug dealer who sold weed, acid, coke, X, and had an awesome hookup for steroids which I took advantage of. This was mid to late 90’s.

I tell kids all the time that high school doesn’t matter and you won’t see or talk to most these people later in life. Just enjoy yourself and don’t worry about being ‘popular’ because in the end it doesn’t mean shite.

Not what I would call "popular" but overlapped several of the OP's groups. Played FB & Baseball, made good grades, and had stoner friends too. This was back in the 70's, things were very much like Dazed and Confused in our rural area.
