Wasn't popular then and probably less popular now that I'm a grumpy old man.

Popular, but smart enough to have nerd friends also, jock guy. I moved comfortably between all those worlds.

From 2000-2003 in my high the stoners, jocks, blacks, preps, Asians, smart kids, wierdos, troubled youth all got along harmoniously under the blanket group called …. The children of Ecstacy

Artsy fartsy/music/stoner type who was in the "more popular" crowd. Still so at class reunions.

Jock/stoner. I was a hockey player. Hockey players are ordinarily very very chill off the ice. No pun intended. I was in a band too.

Grade school ?
I pretty sure I made the cut of
kids that don't pee themselves
now I think I occasionally make the same list for the OT

As we grew up the smarter "popular" kids got higher in the food chain and the dumber ones fell off. There was a group of us in primarily AP courses who'd been together for years through gifted classes or whatever, so that benefitted me and my friends as we got older. My subgroup wasn't the core of it, but we were part of the spring break trips, parties, etc. It was such that most of us look back on HS pretty fondly I think.

I dabbled in cool kids, nerds, and stoners. Jocks was where I drew the line.
