I was in Havana on May 6 and the Cubans love our American $$$$. I didn't detect any hard feelings towards us and they were very concerned about this decision coming down.

You can still go tomorrow or next month if you want. Fly to Mexico, buy your Visa there, and then fly into Havana. Perfectly legal just make sure they stamp your Visa instead of your Passport

This is bullshite. My wife and I were gonna do a night or two in Cuba when we went to key west next year. Trump has done some great things for this country, but he doesn't give 2 shits about anything that doesn't benefit him personally.

Looking at how all the cruise lines are handling this, it's clear they had NO IDEA this was coming and were blindsided just like everyone else. Carnival had a cruise that left Monday that was on the way there and had to divert to Cozumel. Royal Caribbean has one that leaves today and another tomorrow that they are having to reroute.
Carnival announced this morning that all future stops to Cuba will be replaced, and guests who already booked those cruises can get $100 per person onboard credit, switch to another cruise and get $50 per person on board credit, or cancel for a full refund.
It is absolutely insane that the government blindsided them like this.
