One kid bullied me in 6th grade. Ended up fighting it out. He swung at a teacher who was trying to just break us up, and was kicked out of school. I ended up busting his nose and breaking his glasses, but he got me in a solid chokehold for a min there before I could wiggle out of it. Still don't know what became of ole Rodney. I ended up changing schools because we moved.
He was a black kid and always referred to me by my race. White boy, cracker, etc. finally had enough and caught his arse in the hallway.

Is it telling that he assumed anyone who was bullied as a kid is politically Liberal as an adult? ( and thus, conversely, anyone who was a bully as a kid is politically Conservative as an adult )

There was a guy named Ronnie LeBeouf who terrorized our neighborhood when i was a kid. He was a few years older and was always bigger and stronger than the other kids in the neighborhood. And mean as a snake. would just beat on whichever kid he felt like beating that day.
Then David Williams moved into the hood and nearly drowned that fricker in the swamp.
No idea where that a-hole is these days. i'm guessing he finally got put down for good.

When I was in the 8th grade, my and my buddy walked into the locker room to see my buddy's 9th grade cousin being held up against the lockers by 3 seniors. My friend grabbed the nearest object, which happened to be a metal folding chair, and cracked the biggest senior in the head with it. The cousin was never messed with again.

My old ball coach (and history teacher) used to make bullies run laps if anyone was picking on a weaker student. He would let them fight it out on the playground or ball field if they were somewhat matched.

I keep reading stories about someone saying they were bullied, they punched the bully, bully backed down, they then became best friends. I’ve never ever seen that happen irl, only on TD and movies apparently.

close to happened to me, this guy was a bully in high school , even to his own team mates on the football team. But he never actually hit me anyway, just a jerk bully. Well close to 25 years after the fact we ran accross each other, he apologized for being a jerk in school and while we aren't "friends" we are friendly, and our kids are friends.
Now the jerk that actually fought people, he was a bully and dumb, he'd get his arse kicked and come back for more the next day, he didn't care. He'd bring a few cousins with him if he needed to.
Well this guy raped a couple of women, true story. He raped an older lady with a mental disability. The cops caught him the second night when he came back . He was in prison for that for a LONG time and this woman's son was a real back hills frick he told this kid's dad that he'd kill him if he ever got out of prison. Ole boy gets out of prison , get's the literal shite beat out of him by old boy goes home beats his dumb arse wife who waited for him to get out of prison and goes back to prison the next day . Older ladies son never got arrested , no proof he did anything.
Dude's a scummer from a scum family. Mother/father/brother/sister they are in prison , as are a few cousins.

I was a chubby, mild-mannered kid in grammar school and as a result the older kids would act like dicks and such at recess. Never forget when this kid three years older than me made fun of me because I was chubby and playing basketball.
Well several years later, in high school, I played basketball for my school and had sprouted to about 6'3" and was pretty ripped and in great shape. I went and played occasionally at my old school's gym (it was down the street from my house and several former coaches and other people would get together once a week to play) and sure enough that same guy was there who had teased me years ago.
To say I completely dominated and beat his arse on the court was an understatement. I was now taller and stronger than him, and I punished the shite out of him, and he couldn't do a damn thing back.
Ah, good times.
