I don't recall ever turning my heater on in November in south Louisiana.

This is typical for me. I am out of the house all day and I like to sleep cold, so I never turn it on until it gets pretty bitterly cold. The only heat I need is when I get in the shower. I’ve got an electric space heater th worm the bathroom up.

A/C running off and on daily here and the heater is not even in the thought process for now. It's now 11:44 p.m. and it's still in the low 70's outside.
