There are medical doctors all over the place saying they don't work. They get shut down by the media and deleted from social media but there are a lot of them.

They don’t work if you wear a neck gaiter, a bandanna or some other similar bullshite to “comply.” If you wear a proper fitting mask and refrain from fricking with your face and mask while it’s on, they work. That’s why doctors fricking wear them to do surgery. They don’t want to sneeze in your body cavity.

Cute. Tell me how that works for you when you walk into a place of business in Louisiana.

Why do we need to wear masks if I have no symptoms and asymptomatic people don't spread it? You know how many deaths under 50 years old we've had in my county in the 6 months of this so-called pandemic? 2... and we are considered a hot spot. F all of this. I'm going back to the real world, not the one of fear porn and pointless rules.

To make the Karens feel safe. It is, and always has been, about feelings.

Not really. I saw my GP last week. He walked in the room and asked me if I wanted him to keep the mask on. I said no. We both took our masks off.

The mandates are only there to make the hyperventilating types feel better.

Just curious...before you went in to the exam room did they ask you any questions about specific symptoms, travel, take your temperature...anything like that?

Only an n99 works on viruses dude. The n95s have some minor impact in a hospital but that's due to the entire ppe protocol, scrubbing in and scrubbing out, shoe guards, gloves, and surgical gowns. Masks alone or in a community setting don't work. Read the studies.

Wearing just a mask is like putting one ingredient in a cake recipe and expecting to eat cake. You folks are hilariously stupid.

Please explain away the institutional list I cited above.

Why in the blue frick am I going to listen to people like you over them? Seriously.

Unless you are thoroughly washing your hands with soap and warm water every single time you put on or remove you mask, you are transferring germs from everything you touched directly to something you something to place against your nose and mouth. Frankly, that’s disgusting.

We went drive-thru yesterday. They wouldn't give us our bag of food without putting on a mask.

Meanwhile, the guy at the window made drinks for different orders without changing his gloves, touched his headset and his hair with those same gloves, then touched his mask. Then touched our bag. The person putting food in our bag had on no gloves and a mask below her nose.

Also, they had a plexiglass "window" and at least 6 feet of space between them and customers. But, sure, my mask was the issue.

No. When I booked the appointment online a month ago they had some vague questions about having a temperature and being exposed before I could book the appoinment.

When I showed up at the office, nothing.

Just curious - where in N MS?

Cuz I’d like to move there ASAP Really!!

Only place I know in my town in Louisiana where I don’t have to wear a mask is my pharmacy - unfortunately (fortunately???) I don’t go there often

I don't understand why wearing a mask is so damned hard? Yet, people want to whine when other restrictions are not lifted because the anti-maskers and anti-social distancers want to make their point. Such a simple thing as wearing a mask has become such an arguing point.

Ok, dumb fricking arse. Let me break it down for you. I agree with you. You're barking up the wrong tree, player. I'm sorry. I figured I kept it simple enough and if you bothered to read and comprehend what I wrote, you wouldn't be wasting your time.

But that being said, (that I agree with you) we don't have a choice in Louisiana. We have to wear them because it's mandated. You can certainly try to walk into a place of business or a doctor's office or whatever and not wear one, but you'll most likely get turned back or told to purchase one.

Can you share a few?

Also, here's a fun experiment...have your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend stand about 3 feet in front of you. Put on a mask. Try and spit in his/her/its face.

Then do the same thing without a mask.

Then report back on how it went.

Feel free to hyperventilate and wear a mask as much as you want. It's rather silly, but you do you.

ETA: Sorry I'm assuming you're not a fat, diabetic, comorbidity piece of shite. If you are, well, I can understand the hyperventilating I guess.

My question was a simple yes/no, to which I think I know the answer (and which would explain why your doctor was so comfortable with removing masks in the exam room).

So no need to answer. I know.

Still too much of a pussy to not wear a mask at work though, eh?
