Gotta have something to whine about now that McCain is buried.

K, I'll let my friends at Nike know that you are out.

It's meaningless until the medium reaches the consumer and they make the decision.
It's meaningful to Nike, the world is talking about it. Goal reached.
However, it's very ridiculous that Nike did this with the message that they used.

Oh I understand it completely.
I disagree with the message though.
I hope everyone that reads this understands that.
There are ignorant people in this thread that don't though.
Very interesting discussion to be honest regardless on what side each person is on.

I cant imagine this was the goal..
Nike investors aren't happy about the Colin Kaepernick ad

You're right I'm ignorant to what the actual goal was because I've been busy today and haven't had time to look into that yet.
I will say from my initial response that it's complete bs.
But yes, by the world discussing this, it's very successful for Nike. People have it on their minds.
We will have to wait more than one day to see how this will play out.
More than likely it's the flava of the week, but it still pisses me off pretty good that Kaepernick is even still around.

Basically free advertising from a "political agenda" campaign.
This is all over the media today.

You can't swear off Nike, you're still here talking about it pussy.

i don't like the kneeling thing but I respect the guy for putting money where his mouth is. we may have some differing beliefs but at least he is out trying to make the world a better place. That's a lot more than most of the people calling him garbage can say.

When the ex-leader of Iran supports this, it's disgusting that Americans still support the message. That's why I'm dissapointed most tbh. Sad

No kidding. OP starts attention-seeking thread, thinks he's gonna be lauded for taking a stance, gets dry-blasted up the arse.
Never comes to the realization that Nike is playing him like a fiddle...
Embarrassing.

plenty of klan members support trump. i haven't disregarded everything he has done or is trying to do because of that. kind of a dumb point.

and people are dumb and will buy into the whole ad campaign that CK actually sacrificed everything for something that he believes in...that something that keeps changing
