Not really. It's politically driven using race. It's disgusting.

The Klan is dead. I lived in Harrison, AR. Most of you will use this, but honestly they mean nothing.

This is huge companies and conglomerates that are using their campaign ads to make money off of race.

Unethical as frick and disgusting

he didnt kneel, he sat

and he protested that national anthem to complain about
cops

this wasnt some brave stand, it was a petulant child seeking attention form his Afrocentric political GF

he's twisted his original message to fit a more legitimate one ,

Exactly. The media and Nike don't even know the message. It got lost a long time ago. This is a political agenda and taking advantage of people who buy into a false narrative that conglomerate media is pushing for race & political reasons.

that was point in my last post.......his stance has changed a number of times......and now he's d being touted as some sort of hero that sacrificed everything for something he believes in.....what exactly has he sacrificed and what does he believe in

and dont say he sacrificed a NFL career....because we've already established that he turned down teams because he though he was worth more than they were offering.

I disagree with how he made the cop/police brutality thing about race. it's something everybody should worry about. The whole "thin blue line" thing doesn't protect a few bad cops it means there are a lot more bad cops.

cops who turn a blind eye to fellow officers abusing rights or leveraging the ignorance of citizens to take advantage of their rights are just as guilty as the cop doing it.

edit: do you think there should be legal consequences for disrespecting the flag/national anthem?

He did kneel.

He did not protest the anthem, he protested during the anthem.

I really don't I haven't studied the nike market a day in my life. I don't know what their trending demographics are, or enough information to say weather or not it was a good idea for a fact. I do however have 15 years of experience predicting market trends in other markets, and using that information, I predict that this is about as intelligent as when yeti stopped their support of the NRA.

He sat

Colin Kaepernick took a stand against police violence on Friday night by taking a seat. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback refused to stand for “The Star-Spangled Banner” before a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Friday because, he said, “There are bodies in the street.”

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media

This was the first reason he gave for not standing

quote:

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Nope,

U.S. Army veteran Nate Boyer convinced Colin Kaepernick to kneel, rather than sit, while protesting police brutality during the national anthem.

So a caller on the Will Cain Show just said he was a veteran and wasn't offended by Kaepernick, so no one else should be either- coming very close to saying they have no right to be if they didn't serve.

Good Luck on that one, buddy.
