I still appreciate your bipartisan levity and finesse.

One of my favorite gifs.
(I would have preferred the American flag to be waving a tad though)

Cue the couch astrophysicists of the OT!
Do you understand how creating a "scientific" consensus, confirmation bias, and especially credentials work among the Elites, its Royal Society types and Institutions?
ALL "authoritative" knowledge by tElites is established by first creating a a "Big Club", then by default consensus -- binding ALL of them into accepting the same Pseudo/Theoretical "Science" acceptance as "official canon".
NO independent archaeological/scientific/geological is allowed by these establishment monopolies is to be accepted or taken seriously as "Fact" or "Truth".

Same "Blown Mind" here.
"The Science" has always denied and rejected ALL who "go rogue and off the reservation"; neither tScience nor NASA can "prove" "Space" exists, or any "SPace" travel" OR especially "Moon Landing."
With respect to tScience and its collective of "advanced degrees" and credentials, POLITICS drives its entire agenda.
Several cases of "TRUST US -- OUR WORD IS DIVINE!" off the top of my head:
tScience and its official insistence that its advocacy on "Global Warming", Trans-Gendering, "The Pandemic", the "Vaxx", and rejection of Ivermectin etc as medical solutions are etched in stone.
Scientism has become...a Religion. No alt opinions (despite proof) accepted.

Don’t forget gravity. That’s clearly made up.

Absolutely made up. Sorry -- NOT a "gotcha" at all.
Listen in on one of Scientism's High Priests, Neil DeGrasse Tyson being asked the question:
"WHAT IS GRAVITY?"
DeGrasse Tyson DOESn'T KNOW
> Density – How closely packed together the molecules of a substance are.
Bouyancy – Ability to float or rise to the top of a liquid or gas.
Float – To sit near the surface of a liquid or gas, to not sink.
Mass – How much matter fits in a given space.
Matter - Stuff
Weight – A measure of the force of gravity on an object. Materials with more density weigh more.
Volume – How much space a substance takes up.

You are definitely the type of person that would go to a flat Earth convention

To be fair: cameras are different. Hubble is pure visual/low UV. Similar to human vision.
Webb is infrared. That’s the point. It’s not to replicate Hubble. But to get new data.

According to Liberator it a fake star that was supposed to supplant the fading luminescence of our Sun.
Well sir -- you're kind of on the right track. On context you're about 31.65% correct.
Webb is a mirror. (Like this)
"Supplant" the sun? No. Capabilities of amplify and reflect/deflect the sun's rays/energy? It would seem so.
How can a mirror in the sky be utilized? Can it reflect and target the sun's rays elsewhere? How much can it reflect? How far up in the sky can it be positioned?
Sorry folks. The Webb is not "orbiting" anything or "in space". Like ALL other "Satellites" said to be in Low Earth Orbit: It is tethered and positioned by Balloon.
The whole "Telescope" thing and "a pebble hit it and knock it partially out of commission" is...not...the truth. Believe what you want/must.

That device probably is unlike anything used on Earth
you also have to harden it against cosmic radiation that will flip bits randomly

Surely you are trolling, wtf do you think gravity is? If you’re claiming you don’t believe it exists, then what is weight and why does more dense matter weigh more than less dense matter?

And how is the fact that it was never claimed that Webb is in Low Earth Orbit but rather is 4 times further away from Earth than the moon play into all this?

That device probably is unlike anything used on Earth since it has to operate in the vacuum of space and at a temperature of -448.15 degrees Fahrenheit.
The mirror and the sensors needs to be that cold. The electronics is probably on the “warm” side of the device.

Yup. Fish eye lens, smoke and mirrors, and good old fashioned rockets that go over the horizon and crash into the sea for show.
Does anyone actually believe we can send anything to space?

So why would there be any structural resistance to a pebble? When the pebble strikes, there is no force of gravitational resistance. The telescope is weightless. It should simply push it, right?
