I got on at college heading towards 12 and got home quicker than I have all week. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

This college of engineering graduation will likely be boring though.

That was awfully nice of Scruffy to drive in. I'm sure the new graduate is glad Scruffy will be in attendance.

Scruffy doesn’t care about that. He is getting a free steak dinner after this.

I think a huge problem is that I -10 is 5 lanes between the 10/12 split and college. You lose 1 lane at College and another lane immediately thereafter at Acadian.

That’s 5 lanes getting are bottlenecked down to 3 lanes in a very short distance. What compounds this is that the far left lane on I-12 eventually becomes the far right lane on I-10 so, in anticipation of this, truckers and many others sit in the passing lane for miles obstructing traffic flow.

Is it really driving and texting when you aren’t moving?

I cross a massive bridge over a lake twice a day. I go opposite traffic each time. You couldn't pay me enough to sit in the traffic I see every morning and evening.

Yeah, my wife and I concluded the same. The "best" place to live in Albuquerque is across the Rio Grande, but if you have normal hours, you're spending an extra 75 minutes in traffic to live there.

College drive through the 110 Split is the worst section of interstate in the US hands down. Pretty sure it is impossible to actually drive the speed limit through there

I'll raise you I-610 near Westheimer, pretty-much from 7:15am through 8:15pm. Add 15% on Fridays.

He did.

He already lost money at the casino and is now waiting to order his steak.

I’ve often wondered why there isn’t a “no trucks” lane on I-10 going through town. Not that it would help that much, but it would keep those bastards from causing an accident or breaking down in at least one lane.

You know it brother.

Why else do we put up with family?

It’s not like we actually like them.

...work on that loop...

A key element would have been another bridge over the Mississippi River probably downstream 10 or 15 miles from B.R. A very, very expensive undertaking. But...wait...we spent the hundreds of millions on a new bridge over the river. From New Roads to St. Francisville! Great idea.
