Tony didn’t show up so your interviewer had to man the register.

I know, right. I feel like they must have forgot to cancel it. I was supposed to meet with the entire department in the first round but I got rescheduled. But I was just talking with hr and they said the meeting still looked to be scheduled

I used to do this to candidates. It's a test. Your best bet is to just take over the office of your choosing and pretend to work. Get HR on the phone and make sure they have your bennies in order.

I applied for a job about a month ago. Got the call for a phone interview. Then an in person. Before the in person they emailed me some questions. One was, "What is your favorite website?" I listed TD. Not sure how this will help you but good luck.

Got the job too

I would run from that company. Any time an HR department can’t confirm it’s not a good sign. What happens if you don’t get paid? “The paycheck still looked to be processed”.

It’s a webex interview. And my internet keeps dropping out. And it’s my day off.

I just looked at her status (it’s an internal position) and it said she was going to log in at 9-10AM. She was never going to be on for this.

You do not want to work for a person like that. With smartphones, it is impossible to forget about a meeting.

He's right. I'm an interviewer and things happen. It's not good when it does but it does happen. If it were me, I would be freaking out because I know the candidate is going to back out as they should. My advice is to shoot an email/call them 15 minutes in and wait 30 minutes then leave. Follow up with them that you understand it happens (only if you are still interested in the position) and you are okay with rescheduling. Good luck baw
