Yeah I meant the comparison between cite and release and arrest on the spot. Another friend had to drive the car back while he went into jail.

Yeah, I know there are thousands of applicants lined up to drive the company vehicle with their suspended license. You gotta stand out somehow or another.

With our company, you have to report everything with our fleet F150's. If you get a ticket, even if you can keep it off your state driving record, you have to report it to HR. If they find out after the fact, no matter how long after the fact, you could very well be history.

Also, you have like 24 hours to report, too.

I'm guessing this is what happened here.

No company car, but my company reimburses mileage. They pull the report every year and if anything is there that you didn’t report, you’re gone.

Accidents require immediate drug testing too. Failure to do so, fired.

The reason they found out is because I was just promoted. I’ve beeb general managing another office for two months so I had to move territories. We have company driver licenses and they had to update it.

All this stemmed from a dui I got because someone knocked off my mirror and I was driving home after. All charges were dismissed after pti. (Personal vehicle)

Really just a series of unfortunate events that’s now bit me in the arse. I don’t fault them for firing me. It’s a gigantic company. I could have been the best sales guy out of 1000 they still have to set a precedent.

What sucks is this coming to light so long after it happened and after my new promotion.

That’s not what the dui was for.

Pretty much this. If I had just told them when it happened. I would have been fine. A lot of what ifs honestly. If the dude before me wasn’t such s shitty manager I never would have been promoted. Never would have had a reason to look at my driving record

Truth but that was why I was pulled over.

What company? Have a friend looking for a job.

Just kidding, that does suck. I'd have asked why they let you drive in the first place. It's their policy and they let you drive, so why is it an issue now?

Just go get a job at the competition and bring your customer base with you.

If you’re worth a shite you shouldn’t have a problem with that.

I’ve hired and have been hired solely for the customer base. Yes. That does happen in real life.
