On another note Baszler needs to go to Raw or Smackdown.....she'd immediately be on (and belong on....unlike freaking Lacey Evans) the level of Lynch, Banks, Bayley, and Flair

Well tonight definitely generated a lot of buzz and debate and that’s good for the business no matter how you look at it or which “side” you’re on.

Putting Tony and JR on commentary is by far the best decision Tony Khan made and by far pushing JR out and never giving Tony another chance after WCW was a huge misstep for Vince....anybody can admit AEW won that battle.

ETA Although I would ask this question on Mauro Ranallo....all you people trashing Mauro were probably Joey Styles marks right?

Seems like a lot of people are talking negative on the production of AEW.
Yes, the production still has some bugs, but compared to Double or Nothing, they have came a long way. Their production is pretty spot on tonight. I remember double or nothing they had big spots that the main camera didn’t catch live.

shite you should have watched Fyter Fest.....the fricking CZW tournament in a home made ring in a cow pasture on YouTube was better produced.

ETA it's Walter v Kushida next week.....can't wait for the guys that marked out for Kushida v ZSJ to shite on Kushida now.

TNT is paying for production. I'm guessing they provide the cameras and equipment and pay most of the technical people. AEW hired the old WCW director to run production. Outside of Kevin Dunn he has more experience than anyone in producing live wrestling.

Yea it's a good thing TNT is the ultimate authority on production because Keith Mitchell would fricking kill the territory.

The first episode of Dynamite also saw the company do well to establish potential future stars in a wrestling-heavy show that flew by thanks to a high work rate and very brief interstitial segments that kept the focus almost exclusively on what was happening inside the ring.

From CBS Sports...a wrestling show that focuses on wrestling. It may have a future with wrestling fans.

I’m sticking with NXT only due to all my favorites from ROH before ROH went to shite.

I firmly believe NXT is going to get Damian Priest over like Rover in no time......good call on the program with a solid hand like Dunne.

I agree. He’s got a good future even though he’s an older guy. He did the right thing leaving ROH. I did like him there with Kevin Sullivan.
