I’ve never been, but I’ve heard people rave about their Mandarin chicken
Oh, he did, I assure you. Here he was, this grown man, wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sunblock cream on his nose, trying to legitimately get at 2 trash-talking high schoolers. And he wasn’t just joking around, either. That’s what made him so douchey. I never cared for him in WWE, but I liked him just fine in WCW.

Speaking on Brandi, with “talent” kinda low in WWE right now, she might be the finest of all

My biggest issue with AEW is that I’m not a Moxley fan AT all. So it they push him to their top spot, I’m not going to have any interest in watching.
Well tonight definitely generated a lot of buzz and debate and that’s good for the business no matter how you look at it or which “side” you’re on.
Agreed - maybe 15 or 20 years ago I went and thought it was great... but the 3x over the past decade were forgettable.
A buddy of mine who is in the business told me that he uses basa instead of Louisiana catfish because the flavor of the catfish varies, and he was having too many people who would get a “bad” piece and complain about the “fishy” taste and send it back. He said basa is consistent and never varies. No flavor but that’s what most people want.
I said the same exact thing earlier in this thread and was downvoted for it :dunno:
Most of them were dicks. They used to use my buddy’s catering company and he said they were all assholes, with the exception of a very few (like DDP)
Never said that — I already said I’ll give them time to work out the kinks, kinda like when a new restaurant opens

But no matter what, AEW will never match WWE in production. That’s WWE’s forte
That was back in 93 at Beach Blast in Biloxi — Ventura had to hold him back and then Doug Dillinger told us to take it easy on him bc he was having a rough time (?)
I just fear that if AEW brings in too many WWE retreads that fans will view it just like they viewed TNA — “a bunch of old WWE guys”
Bottom line is, AEW, no matter what they do, will never match WWE in production. They want NXT to have a much smaller more intimate feel, and that’s what it is. Saying that AEW is superior to NXT as far as production goes really isn’t saying much, because they don’t invest much at all into that sort of stuff for NXT.
I had a run-in with him when I was a a teen where he attempted to jump over the railing and come after my buddy & me after we yelled that he sucked and that we wanted JR back (JR had just jumped to WWE and Tony had replaced him). Never really cared for him after that.
Idk — some of the talents didn’t impress me, just seemed like hacks who couldn’t cut it in WWE... but I guess NXT is full of those-type guys as well. Jericho is one of my all-time favorites, and I know PAC and Omega and Page are legit. Swagger is a nice surprise

I’ll give them some time to work out the kinks and get some storylines rolling
It was good to hear JR and Schiavone, even though I’ve always thought Tony was a huge douche
That was my first impression as well. Felt more like Impact or ROH
JR was the one who got Swagger the big push in WWE, since he was an Oklahoma boy with a legit wrestling background.

By the way, nice avi — one of my favorite albums
I’ve always liked Swagger. Cool as heck irl, too.
DO NOT READ his story on Murderpedia — DO NOT!!
