I can't help but imagine the OT can deliver. I have only heard stories but never seen one in person. My dad tells a story of my grandfather and great uncle going to a wedding reception at a bar. They were not invited and they got in a fight with the groomsmen over the bridesmaids. Have you ever heard or seen of such a thing?

I feel like you have started a new "here's a scenario now let's here your stories" thread everyday for a couple weeks now

Yep! Daughters of the groom were not much younger than the new wife. They threw down at the end of the night. It was a mess. Cajun style pour your own open bar. People were wasted. I think they fought over the music.

I'm sure that every single story that gets told in this thread will be 100% true.

Not a fight but I was at one where big fat dad was drinking and blog eying down on the dance floor when he dropped dead of a heart attack at the reception. Put a little damper on the proceedings

That was a very selfish thing to do.

well GCS, I'll tell the same story that I always tell when this thread pops up

at my Grandpa's funeral, my uncle, who is a high ranking cop, punched my then 82 year old grandmother in the face

that is my "fight at a funeral" story

my uncle is a giant piece of shite and accused my grandma of giving away all the family land/money/possessions to my mom and my aunts

my grandma basically told him "yeah, you're a piece of shite*, why would I give you anything?" and then he punched her

*my grandma didn't call him a piece of shite

I remember reading where a father shot his son after an argument over seasoning a turkey on Thanksgiving here in BR a few years ago. that kind of shite is crazy.

Nice crawfish there. Just accept that you're grandma's a thug and got what was coming to her. Play stupid games and all that.

Sounds like the kind of shite that happens when a group of idiots grow Wyatt Erp style mustaches and have a "look at me" situation at someone else's wedding.

When I was ~12, my cousin married this really sketchy dude and my dad and a few of his mid twenties to thirties cousins were working the reception as bartenders. At the end of the night after last call while they were shutting down the bar, a group of the grooms friends demanded more drinks and started arguing with the bartenders. I'll never forget my dad walking up and saying "I don't know who you think you're talking to, but I'm not some punk kid" (my dad's a really passive kind of guy) and it suddenly erupted into a family vs. family brawl that was pretty traumatic for a kid to see. The reception hall was completely wrecked and the next morning my grandmother even had a black eye from an elbow to the face. I still remember some moments clearly 40 years later.
