We’ve only got 3 inches in the last two months. Hot and windy too. The fall flowers needed water and I’ve had to water the fruit trees. Big trees still dying from last year’s drought. I hope we get a tropical storm and another 6 inches before Fall so the leaves stay on the trees and turn color.

This. Besides after the drought we had last year, I don't want to hear the crawfish farmers blame another drought for next year's prices. Sadly, they'll probably blame high prices on too much rain though.

Same here in Florida . We flooding Baws!!! Some of these storms are dumping more rain than some of the hurricanes that passed thru.

I do know some guys growing cotton as far south as Pointe Coupee, though. Why they don’t just join the cane train I’m not sure.
