You know what you get when a cold front stalls in the GoM?

A hurricane.

Complaining about hot weather in the south is about the only thing worse than people living in the north complaining about snow or cold weather.

Shovel snow to pull your vehicle out of the driveway for a month and get back to me about how bad heat is in the south.

We deal with subzero wind chills up here in Kentucky in the winter. Especially when a vortex drops down (we’re usually right on the edge).

Both that cold and this kind of heat sucks. Hating extreme weather isn’t mutually exclusive to winter or summer.

Winters here suck too, even if we don't have to frequently deal with winter precipitation.

Humid cold is about as bad as humid heat.

It’s BR. Upper 60s won’t happen but reduced humidity will. I will take it. Be prepared for it to stall along the coast and back up eventually though.

I lived in Northern Snow Country for some years during my time in the Army and I will declare with gusto that a mere 18 inches of snow on a small driveway and walkway will give you a shovel-ready workout like you've never had before.

101 today in NOVA but only 47 percent humidity. It didn’t feel that bad. I’ll take it over winter and wind every day.

Shoveling snow is a much better workout than mowing the a deep south lawn in summer.
