Is that what what those chemtrails are for? Weather manipulation? And is this effective against ufos?

Geo-engineering/chemtrails is openly admitted - so anyone thinking it's full-on conspiracy is uninformed.

The purpose? I'd be arrogant to say for certain.

There's a chance the intentions are 'good', although perhaps misguided. There is a possibility they're trying to reflect sunlight away from earth to keep temps down. It's tough to say as I would have no way of knowing AND it's not a topic I spend time on.

You linked a podcast of a guy discussing him. I posted the official record.

Oh shite - laugh out loud.

Look up, brother man.
Did you even listen to the podcast from your 'official source'? He concluded by saying it wasn't likely that he had built a weather machine.

Question:

Seems like people are questioning whether or not it rained 30 inches in January 1916.

Is the official history of the 1916 flood a lie?

I think most people avoid things that would cause a restructuring of their belief system.

If you want to think it was a coincidence that San Diego hired a man to make it rain in December 1915, and in January 1916 it rained the most in recorded history, resulting in a flood.

Then cool.

That's a heck of a coincidence.

I've already posted this link. The official record says 7.56 inches in Jan. 1916.

This has been a welcomed relief from the Barry thread. Haha
I was hoping YogaGirl would show back up after I finally signed up.

Do you have another link that corroborates the info from site you posted? NBM posted a link that states much less than 30 inches for the entire year of 1916.

Do you think the abundance of available stories in the flood in 1916 is fake?

Can you link anything more credible than a story?

It doesn't take 30in of rain to flood. So I'll ask again. Do you have any corroborating outside source? Or should we just believe everything we read on the internet?

Really? You think that link is the proof for this entire idea?

Having trouble following along?

Someone (you?) questioned the rain fall amount in January 1916.

When I searched rainfall San Diego 1916 this image popped on google and that's the link I shared. I assumed in that link would say 30 inches of rain fell.

You say you are only providing information, but your commentary is pretty biased.

My question: are you in a safe place? Have you prepared for a massive flood in your area? If you are a believer, you must have taken the necessary precautions, yes?

That's why you should probably read your link before posting it as proof. It simply listed the claims and the podcast declared it as unlikely.

Do you even understand what an official source is?

Weather.gov

Yep.

Looks like the person who asserted it only rained 7+ inches in San Diego, Jan 1916 was not being entirely honest.

Scroll down to January 1916 in the link and you will see.

The tower built by Hatfield was 20 miles outside of San Diego and the reservoir where it rained (on some accounts almost 60 inches) flowed to San Diego.

Thanks for stopping by.

Who isn't being honest. You're the idiot that said it was in San Diego.

The OP says the tower was built 20 miles outside San Diego.

In terms of official records, it appears San Diego proper doesn't count the rain that occurred closer to the tower, although it did rain 5 inches in 12 hours in the city itself.

The unusual record breaking rainfall happened just outside San Diego proper and is what caused the devastating flooding in San Diego.

Pretty reasonable explanation.
