an interesting question... where is TWC on its TorCon for tomorrow?
I saw 6s earlier... are they up to 8 or 9 or even 10 yet?

Probably have an update this morning.

Torcon hasn't been updated in a minute, and TBH I would put much stock into it anyways. It's too arbitrary IMO.

Just saying.. don't be surprised to see the high risk expanded east later today. They originally had it expanded, but the night shift pulled it back.

Two of the largest school districts in OK are closing tomorrow (OKC and Tulsa) as well as other surrounding districts. Never happened before.

Early morning convection trending more north, which will lead to even more destabilizing of the atmosphere across the areas of highest risk. High resolution models really painting an ominous picture for this afternoon and evening

HRRR showing possible CAPE of 6000 tomorrow with this wind field is just jawdropping. There hasn’t been a atmosphere this conductive to tornadoes in a long time

Not a fan of days like today. Oil and gas industry has me in Oklahoma. Believe I will only be in the office until noon today. Work from home the rest of the day.

All modes of svr wx on the table today, damaging hail, high winds, and flash flooding will impact more people than tornadoes but get less tv coverage.

Tor Con of 9 for Texas Panhandle, 8 for Oklahoma including OKC

What's the range of the TorCon scale?

This may get bad, stay safe to all Oklahoma and Texas posters.
