I think it was the last decade where kids were actually able to be kids. Before technology took over and before helicopter moms made kids too scared to go outside. Parents just allowed us to go and do whatever we wanted so we experienced life outside of a game console. It was the last time kids were innocent. Even teenagers weren’t in a hurry to grow up too fast.

I was an 80’s kid. Born in 70 so I think that was the perfect year to get the full 80’s experience.
