It doesn't matter who is elected governor. If they are republican all the democrats will think they are an idiot. If it is a democrat, all of the republicans will think they are an idiot.
Then at some point that governor will do something and some people who thought he was an idiot before will change their opinion and vice versa.
In reality, I think JBE has handled things on par, especially how things spread in the New Orleans area. You have to consider.. His decisions were made based on info he was getting from the federal government. And being this is his last term, he doesn't have to "play politics" as much. So I think he made his decisions based on the information he was given.
It's easy to look back and say "well he should have did it this way because this ended up being the situation", Its easy to Monday morning quarterback, but I don't see where he has been a horrible governor.
He came into a financial mess that he was able to get worked out..
