Maybe they should just put a vote on an election ballot and majority wins. It should go whichever way benefits the most people.
split the difference and just move the clock a half hour next time and then leave it alone.
talk about Chaos if not all states do that though.
imagine driving on I-10 east and you have to change you clock at Miss line, then unchanged it in Alabama, then re-change it again in Florida (except with an hour dude to time zone also being factored in).

Same. It would still stay daylight until 7:30-7:45pm during the summer. I go bed at 9pm. I'd prefer it to not be daylight until 8:45 ?
You're missing out. When I lived out west, we were right on the edge of the time zone between mountain and Pacific. Sunrise in the summer is 6am, sunset 930pm. It was light enough to play pickup basketball until 10:15pm without lights.
Also blackout shades are pretty effective.

Hard pass. I know the plant baws roll up to the lot in pitch dark regardless, but the rest of the population has no interest in waking up, getting ready, getting the kids ready, and getting to work/school in the pitch fricking dark. Sunrise at 8am sounds far worse than a short period of time in the winter with sunset at 5pm.
How a sunset at 5pm is less depressing to you than an 8 am sunrise is beyond me. Standard time blows donkey dick

I don’t get it. We’ve had DST all of our lives, and all of a sudden it’s a problem? Why can’t you pussies deal with a 1 hour change?

Daylight Savings Time SUCKS
Get rid of it yesterday
Not sure whats worse- it being dark at 7:30 in the morning or still daylight at 8pm when its hot AF in July and August
And the ‘Spring Forward’ bullshite that coming in 2 weeks- thats the absolute worst

I’d be fine if it were set to one. Some places it’s more necessary. So I’m not sure it will happen.

Various states including Kentucky, Oklahoma and California are all proposing legislation to end it in their states and some areas of the country already do not participate
In Oklahoma I believe our vote was to stay on DST full time but nothings been acted on it yet. Sucks it being dark by 6pm in November and December when we fall back.

Is it really that hard to change the clock twice a year? It does have its benefits.

Standard time is the obvious choice. There’s no reason for DST. They’ve done studies on this, the circadian rhythm is much more closely aligned with DST.
Lol
What a bunch of bullshite.
Standard time is 4.5 months.
Daylight savings time is 7.5 months.
Are you retarded?

Splitting the difference on the clock screws up the point of reference on the globe worse than some places shifting an hour during part of the year.

No, there have actually been studies and it shows the body syncs better with standard time. It's natural.

Who actually changes their clocks? It's automatic on just about everything.
