We need a crime board

Mainly for helping solve crimes but it could be used for posting about an arrest or threads on investigations.
I know of 3 unsolved murders from the small area where I used to live. More if I think hard enough. I believe crowd sourcing to help solve crimes is going to be much more common. TD has already caught a serial killer.(wish I could remember his username).
One I just had a thread on recently. Duell Moreland was tied to a tree around his neck for multiple days. I believe the water from the bayou rose up to chest or neck level during that time. He was eventually shot and burned in a shallow grave. After a month of being missing, someone called another local woman *Cindy (not her real name) and told her where the body could be found and only accessible by boat. She may of said who was responsible. I think it was 3 or 4 names given. The family went and found the remains immediately. The main suspect Hart Tiffee is a relative of Moreland and was arrested on gun charges. The body was found close to his camp and its a very remote area. All circumstantial evidence points to Tiffee and a few of his meth buddies. The grand jury didn't indict him because of a lack of evidence. What is crazy is all the physical evidence still at the crime scene which obviously wasn't tested. From the strap they used to tie him up to the tree, water bottles, shovels, sleeping bags even a knife. It stayed there over a year or two and possibly still there.
-previously Tiffee also shot his brother in the arm with a high powered rifle after a fight. The younger brother drove down to the hay barn to confront him and he was hidden on top of the hay concealed like a sniper. Soon as he got out the truck, he shot him. I think charges were eventually dropped.
-A few years before all this, a wrecked vehicle was found on the side of the highway with no one inside. A couple days later, the driver's body was found in the middle of a field maybe a mile away.
It obviously seems like he wrecked and was injured badly but was able to walk. So he was found going towards the lights of a big grain elevator and apparently died before he could get there.
The strange thing about this is that that whole area had been searched thoroughly. Dogs, volunteers and I think helicopters. Farmers should have seen him or run over him because they were working in that field before he was found.
The woman,*Cindy, who informed everyone where to find Duell Moreland in his murder also called and told searchers where to find this boys body and it was in the exact spot she told them like previously in the Moreland murder. I believe Hart Tiffee, the main suspect in the Moreland murder was named a person of interest in this case also.**not sure to what length or even at all. It is said he may have been seen with this person before the wreck. Could be made up rumors**
As for the second case, I don't know if it was ever investigated concerning foul play. I think it was ruled that he died from his injuries from the car wreck and attempted to go get help. It may just be a coincidence or false rumors that Tiffee was reported to be with him earlier. *Cindy the tipster may be a psychic. Or someone that people feel like the can talk to when something bad happens. Random people may really feel like she is the best person to report crimes to, I'm not sure. But it is all strange.
The really should do a
couple seasons of The Killing
Fields in the Concordia/Catahoula area but bring in some real deal investigators that know what they are doing. This site has plenty of posters from each part of the state that I think would share some interesting stuff.

We already have too many fricking boards.
We should have pop-up boards like CC when the time is needed.

A true crime board would be cool. But, I will just say that there's some good ones out there already. Reddit has a good subreddit on this topic. There's others as well. (Just avoid Websleuths, they are terrible).

Yep. I went on there once because there was a case I was interested in. I said the obvious "this person was killed by her husband." They immediately banned me and said you can't accuse family members. Even when it was OBVIOUS to everyone on the planet who did it, you get banned if they are a family member.
frick that.

How did you get that name? Have you ever murdered someone not in Reno?
