it was entertaining. There are some good OT sleuths here, but that is related to social media. Solving a crime though, dont get excited.

There really should be a board where only posters that are banned can post. All unbanned registered posters can see their posts and threads on it but the banned posters can't view any other boards besides the banned board. I bet it would be some great threads in that board.

Most of the stuff used to be posted on the OT. Now people are all over the place and individual boards are watered down

That is a terrible idea.
Not sure why everyone thinks that new boards are needed to discuss topics that could generally be covered on the existing boards.

Yeah it's bad. Way too long for a post here. I admit that. But the bad title threw of the discussion the thread was meant to be about.
2nd time in a row I tried discussing it but title was just as bad and threw off the duscussion also.
I wrote a third draft about it to try one more time but I gave up when I realized I wasn't even halfway through and it is already longer than the other.
Its a very interesting case but too many details to condense it down to accepted OT post length.

No... No... Someone who post on the board had a relative who was involved in a relationship with the a guy who killed a girl who put up on hell of a fight before he killed her. Because the killer was injured and had to go to the hospital for treatment, the person who happens to post on the board was able to put 2 and 2 together.
It wasn't as if people on the board were investigating and put all their information together and was able to find out who the killer was..

Webslueths is the worst. they are famous for banning people for stupid stuff like being a member of a different crime-related website.
Tricia Griffin is the owner and she is a total scam artist. She is always begging people for money for stuff and using the website to further her grifting ways.
She was broke and sold half interest of webslueths to a former mod (Sue). Trish made sure the partnerships would net her a few thousand a month in income while the other half owner was having to PAY thousands a month to pay the bills that Trish refused to pay.
Sue went to court and sued Trish and got away from her and started her own website. Trish and her flying monkey squad of mods have banned everyone who joins the other site and then goes after the people on a personal basis. Trish and her supporters are psychos
One of the WS's mods was also outted as a registered sex offender.
The mods will delete a post if it is in disagreement of what they believe and pan a person. They are that petty.
