inspired by this disaster last year:

Warehouse explosion in China last year, hundreds killed.

quote:

The warehouse building, owned by Ruihai Logistics, is recorded in a 2014 government document as being a hazardous chemical storage facility for calcium carbide, sodium nitrate, and potassium nitrate.[17] Safety regulations requiring that public buildings and facilities should be at least 1 kilometre away were not followed, and local inhabitants were unaware of the danger.

and a blog post on wunderground showing the worst disasters of the year:

Three billion-dollar weather disasters for July 2016: Typhoon Nepartak, China floods, Netherlands severe weather
According to the July 2016 Catastrophe Report from insurance broker Aon Benfield, two billion-dollar weather-related disaster hit the planet in July: $1.5 billion in damage from Typhoon Nepartak's impact on the Philippines, Taiwan, and China; and flooding in northeast China on July 16 - 24 that cost $5 billion. An additional $6 billion in flood damage occurred along the Yangtze River basin, bringing the total flood damage in that region from monsoon rains that began in May to a staggering $28 billion dollars--the third most expensive non-U.S. weather related disaster in recorded history. Additionally, a severe weather outbreak in the Netherlands during June accumulated enough damage claims to be rated a billion-dollar disaster by the end of July. Between January - July 2016, there were 21 billion-dollar weather disasters--one fewer than occurred during January - July 2013, the year that ended up with the most billion-dollar weather disasters on record: 41. Here is the tally of billion-dollar weather disasters for January - July 2016:

we are lucky to live in an area where these disasters are known to happen but people know how to respond to a disaster and minimize lives lost.

Anybody who has not travelled to a 2nd or 3rd world country has no clue how good we Americans have a good life.

dude your schtick is tired....

No one gives a frick about Boulder and no one gives a frick about your white bread neighborhood, or your bullshite hiking, or any of your hippy shite.

You seem like the type that won't stop saying how awesome you have it and how happy you are hoping that you will actually believe it. Sad. You seem lonely.

When you lay your head on your pillow every night, you should be thankful for the following, if applicable, in order:

1) Be thankful you're American

2) Be thankful you're relatively wealthy

3) Be thankful you're white

Don't apologize for any of it, but you can still be thankful.

Boulder is nice, i'll give you that.

But culture-wise, when it comes to people being giving, kind, and opening up their lives to people louisiana is the tops.

On top of that we slay it when it comes to cooking. And im not talking about restaurants.

The average joe household cook from La is >>> anywhere else, bc its part of our culture.

So frick YOU, we are lucky to live here.
