I called it. He was going to try to go back to the other room to further delay. Now this witness will finish, he will come back over, and the cycle will repeat.

Surely not. It would give him a chance to redirect and keep this going.

This judge has been extremely lenient with him. She's very much in the minority here by allowing these delays to happen. Most other judges would've sent him back to the other courtroom right away.

Nope... then she will immediately ask if he wants to come back for his next witness

Has anyone read Illinois v Allen that she keeps citing? A quick Google search says the trial judge has the right to bind and gag an unruly defendant. Wish she would drop some balls and do it.

This case needed to be in Judge Burowski's court

Rekieta went over it earlier. It's entirely within her power.

She definitely would have if he had a lawyer representing him

But since he's representing himself... she's giving that leniency

The best part is he’s repeatedly challenged her right to remove him under that ruling, while the other options provided are more extreme.

But having him bound and gagged would just further his victim mentality.

Bailiffs made gestures behind his head that he saw through a screen.

Is this the first time he's been in the other court room for the actual trial? I know he was at the very beginning but it was always prior to the jury being in the room. Am I forgetting something?
