No one involved will admit this, but I'm sure the jury has had their minds made up for a long time. There's nothing Brooks could say or do that would sway them to his side.

Absolutely. They can't wait to get to deliberation so they can talk about this guy and this experience.
This guy is so dumb, but he believes he is smart. That makes this worse. There is no end to his arguments.
He will never understand how he opened the door.

Watched a brief clip of this psycho a few days ago
In that couple minute video I saw a female judge have absolutely zero authority or control of her courtroom.
Now reading more comments in here for updates (not watching the trial) I see it’s just more of the same.

he's got nothing to lose and she's trying to do everything in her power to make sure the appeals court can't find anything to say the court prejudiced him in any way

She's being extremely deferential because she wants no risk of his 100% certain convictions being overturned on some technicality. She doesn't need to be this deferential but I get it.
