This witness is great. He's started saying "when HE ran over people in the parade"

I missed the State's questioning because of a meeting but you can tell that Brooks absolutely hates this cguy and this guy hates him. Every other law enforcement witness has turned to look at the jury when answering and Brooks hasn't cared.

I can't imagine trying to keep cool while being questioned by an idiot who murdered people in your town. I'm sure some of these witnesses are being intentionally obtuse or frustrating to make Brooks lose his cool and make it worse for himself.

His faces when he loses an objection or the State has one "substained" are great.

The "N" in "VIN" stands for "Number." VIN Number is redundant.

Judge just described his motion as "squeezing motion, about 3-4 inches apart." She's too good at eyeballing for me.

I believe this is the State's final witness.

Any microscopic chance he had to be not guilty went away when he decided to represent himself. The funny part is he thinks he is learning the law and he is going to be able to outsmart everyone and prove his innocence. This may be the most open and shut case ever.

He basically helped solidify the car inspector testimony.

He has done that with many prosecution witnesses. He caused some witnesses to identify him as the driver and perp multiple times. He doesn't see that, though.

I was wrong. Prosecution still has two witnesses and is not confident they will rest today.
Posted on 10/19/22 at 3:36 pm to Gris Gris
Prosecution could possibly rest today if their last 2 (3 because one is being recalled) witnesses can be wrapped up today
ETA: it's already looking like Brooks isn't going to let that happen

He can't stay 'til 6. He's got places to be.

2 % of the responders are stupid or crazy.

I cannot fricking wait for the judge to rip him a new one at sentencing. May take off work just to watch.

We can add "speculation" to the list of words he doesn't actually know the meaning of.
