Not sure if mentioned in thread as I haven’t been keeping up here, but the rumor is Judge Dorrow is contemplating a Wisconsin Supreme Court run.

Sure seems like she is making herself a public figure. But at the same time, it’s clear she has been moved by the victims and their impact statements.

I agree. Brooks dragged them through these proceedings and made a mockery of them at every turn. They deserve a little consolation.

He could’ve helped himself if he wasn’t such an a’hole. Perhaps given any explanation within reason and she may have shown him some compassion. But you made your bed f’er now sleep in it.
Objectively speaking, he could’ve mowed down a lot more people and thankfully he didn’t. That one 2-3 year old kid on one of those videos where he or she just barely - within inches - got plowed over by Brooks has been seared in my mind how lucky he was.

In my core office, 10 people or so, not a one knew this trial was even happening. Most had forgot about this at all.
