Lucky I guess. Why take that boat into choppy waters at all if you can't put much of anything in it other than yourself?

The dog on the leash roaming was genius

The rest was poorly planned I guess

It’s amazing he could kill her without leaving any evidence at all, yet this was the means to dispose of the body.

Everyone thinks he strangled/smothered her. You aren’t going to leave much evidence in the house that she lived in if she didn’t bleed everywhere.

Wrap her up in something, cover it with a tarp in the boat, done.

I think her body came apart in the water, possibly due to weights attached. Their house had a garage. He could have smothered her or drowned her and easily got her into his vehicle undetected and had her covered up in the boat.

This is what is thought to have happened, there is speculation maybe a ship knocked her loose too and that caused further damage to the body. I don’t think anyone thinks she was cut up by Scott.

I don't think so. It would be insanely difficult to dismember a body and not leave any evidence.

But this presents a logical problem for the prosecution because it would have been extremely difficult to dump a body over the side of that boat without capsizing it.

Maybe he pulled up to one of the islands, unloaded the body, tied the body to the boat, and then drug the body out to the bay? That allows for a lot of opportunities to be seen though.

I don't know exactly how he killed her or how he got her into the Bay, but I'm 100% certain he did it. He wasn't even sad when she was missing. He was still talking to Amber. Amazing. His behavior sealed the deal.

How much hair?

My wife had hair everywhere

He had a dead body on that boat and there was strand of hair?

They think he made several of those weird anchors too, not sure how he didn’t capsize that little boat with those stupid bucket anchors.

I can't remember the name of the Regional Park, but it's on the south/southwest side of Richmond, south of the Richmond - San Rafael Bridge, north of the Berkeley launch. One end of Chevron's dock facility is practically under the eastern (Richmond) approach to the bridge.

Connor, the unborn child's body was found by a dogwalker in the park. Laci's torso was found the next day in the same area. This was in early April, I believe, so they would have been in the water for ~3 - 3-1/2 months.

There was speculation that at a low tide event, Laci's body was either hit by a loaded tanker's wheel or disturbed by the turbulance it created. The body's were found washed ashore in the park that is practically adjacent to the Chevron docks.

Well, since Laci was unaware that he bought a boat and put it in a storage unit, I would think there shouldn't be any of her hair in Scott's "fishing" boat.

I believe it was only a couple of hairs, but there shouldn't have been any. Maybe Laci used Scott's tools to style her hair and then it ended up in his boat on his sole fishing trip, but I don't think so.

frick Scott Peterson.

Maybe Scott used pliers to clear clogged drain then grabbed from garage and put in boat

The burglary is interesting

I would like clarity on their finances, how we know multiple anchors, and more detail about hair found

He was an a-hole but if she was alive after he left for work he didn't do it. Multiple people saw her after he left. Why wasn't this explored more thoroughly, as usual the cops fixate on one possibility too early.

And the blatant carrying on with the Amber chick, while despicable, is so dumb its obvious he wasn't trying to hide it from the cops, just her. You have to believe the guy is dumb as rocks if he did do it.

It may have been a different outcome at the trial if the kook Nancy Grace and the rest of the parasites in the media didn't go into a feeding frenzy on the case.
