We used to watch Blue Angels practice from the flight line. Never took any photos, though.

I'm pretty sure all the smart phone camera apps can do this now. See if you can't do it if photos are loaded to your phone. It's a fun feature for when the kids are doing silly shite or something like this.
thanks, will look into it.

Do they fly as far west as the Florabama?

I live in Destin area. Can you see the show this far down or do they stay mostly up by Pensacola?

That has to be the coolest job on the planet.
Seriously to be the pilot of one of those planes must feel incredible
We just had the Thunderbirds in Biloxi.
One of the few times I will fight traffic on the beach just to get a closer look.

You can catch them going home sometimes depending on where they perform and schedule details. They buzzed us in Gulf Shores a couple years ago late on a Sunday afternoon. They were going west to east back to Pensacola from a show inTX.

For sure. We did a dolphin cruise last month and they happened to be buzzing Navarre and Pcola beach on the way in.

Just kidding. Those guys work their asses off to get that good.
I cannot confirm nor deny that I may have flown down the beach to Gulf Shores to show off for the family on a flight from Pcola to New Orleans

When somebody has their smoke off it means they are out of position. Look at those 2 slackers there

Working on my farm in November and December the Angels practice daily. Scares the crap out me every time they turn directly over my head. Love it, never gets old.

I've seen them down the coast as far as Cape San Blas.
Who knows though they could have been hopping from Tyndall? We see them pretty much every year we are down at the cape.
Couple years ago from the cape.
