At St George in the late 80s we were not the rich kids then and we could not afford any games. We used to play in the dirt and fight. It was like a prison yard out on Siegen.

Don’t remember associating it with “gay” in elementary school at all.

Of course my mom worked at a state agency that was the “Center for Mental Retardation” and we never thought anything of that either.

Remember the Knights of Columbus fundraisers?

Incorrect finger placement giving too wide of a target.

Have to touch thumbs and have index fingers as the uprights

Millions of dollars of damage. You could have rebuilt Nagasaki with the wood we wasted.

Everyone's covered most of the big ones.

We also played thump knuckles. See who could inflict the most pain.

Arm wrestling was popular as well.

We also did that silly game where you make the OK symbol with your fingers and the other person can't get caught looking at it. Or if they do, they have to try and insert their finger inside. Anyone remember that shite?

We played this game in P.E. called Prison Ball. It was basically dodge ball with each team on one side of the basketball court. But when you got out, you'd go around to the end behind the enemy team and could throw at them from behind to get back in.

Police brutality. We’d beat a confession out of another student.

Pull the rope.

One person stands on each side of the street and pretends to pick up and pull a rope when cars drive down the neighborhood street. Some would slam on their brakes and be really pissed.

When I was in 2nd grade all the boys in my glass got the idea we would have a massive war during recess. We all got our moms to take us to K-Mart to buy us the Mattel M-16 like this...

For at least a week or two everyday we’d all bring our M16s to school and fight WWIII on the playground. It was awesome. Some of the girls even got into it by being our nurses to take care of the wounded. This was back when kids got to have fun.

Wall ball

And Danish rounders. It's like kickball but no limit of people on a base.
