Just found this thread, nice Black Bay. Definitely agree on the speedy as a second “entry level” luxury. Here’s a pic of mine, I stare at it constantly when I wear it.

I rotate between this and a 36mm Explorer I; but am promised a Rolex GMT (Batman or Pepsi) from a friend in the business for my 40th but will likely have to get rid of one of the others to justify bringing it in the fold.

so classic

Loved finally figuring out the tachymeter then teaching that to my teenage daughter.

Lost skill that is so simple but so functional.

Have 3 Tags that get worn frequently but am looking to step up to some collectible pieces. What online sites do you collectors trust to certify the used watches they sell are authentic?

DavidSW, Takuya, Nashville watch if looking at Rolex. DavidSW is most expensive but probably best known. Chrono24 is good but be sure to vet the seller. Watch Limit is who I bought my GMT from since my dealer in Lafayette lost Rolex in September. Figured I should add another pic since the last one I posted I didn’t know how to properly set GMT function ha. First day with it and didn’t understand.

Thinking about a birth year Speedmaster for one of the kids, which would be in the 2008-2013 range.

That is likely a record for carrying and birthing a human... Congrats.

Both great but I would see both in person if possible. Pepsi color is a bit brighter in person. I think both look great on jubilee but if oyster bracelet is only one offered still a must buy.

Save a few more sheckles and buy an Omega Speedmaster. It is definitely a Hand Me Down worthy timepiece.

Speedy should be next purchase. Fits the bill.
