Cora Weberg, 31, could face second-degree assault charges as prosecutors claim she stole injectable drugs from Puyallup's Good Samaritan Hospital, where she worked and knowingly infected at least two patients with hepatitis C

Puyallup police said Weberg, who has hepatitis C, “intentionally contaminated medicine or another substance with her own blood.” However, Good Samaritan Hospital workers previously said Weberg was “surprised” to learn she had the virus after she took a test in March, according to The News Tribune.

I don't get it?
She was stealing drugs, using and then reusing them on patients?

How do you contaminate someone with your own blood on accident? It wasn't an isolated incident either

Tie her to 4 horses and rip that bitch to shreds.

They don't test nurses regularly for this stuff?

Better question is who’s hitting it?

She is a junkie. She was likely stealing a small amount of narcotics from the drug vial...injecting herself first right then and there...then diluting vial and giving the rest to the patient. She’s a junkie....like she has time to worry about switching out needles.

Don't hospitals stockpile needles and needle trashcans? Seems like grabbing an extra needle might be an option

No way I would date her.

Yeah, I don’t know specifics.
But when you are resorting to stealing meds and shooting up at work.....standard protocol kind of goes out the window.

Lock her up for 20 years.
Hopefully these people are in the 20% which don’t have recurring symptoms due to this.

Believe a nurse subed my pain killer during the beginning of a heart attack once. I've always felt a little "rush" and a little relief when it was given. This time, nothing. Came close to dieing and in terrible pain for over a hour before they performed the stent. Doc said the next day the left side of my heart was collapsing (when he finally came in to do the stent).
