I found music I liked, found films I liked, met marijuana, started a band in jr high, lost virginity soon after to the girl I'd had a crush on for years, passion was on fire, all my family was still here and i was truly alive..in the 1990s.

Early to mid 90s were amazing. Thalatter part started sucking

The 70s were one epic party. The economy sucked, nuclear anhialation was feared so people just partied and did a lot of drugs.

The day the Iran hostage crisis ended until the Gulf War started.

So 1981 through 1990.

MTV played music
ESPN was all sports
The Weather Channel was all weather.

When Mallards still migrated to Louisiana was the best years once the limit jumped from 3 to like 5. That was about 1992-1995.

Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress balanced the budget.

Clinton signed it.

They both get credit for it but it's definitely true that it was a Republican agenda and not a Democrat one.
Same goes for welfare reform.

Also- pretty damned easy with no Cold War, no War on Terror, and a booming economy due to tech innovation.
The deregulation of the communications industry in 96 was one of the greatest things to happen to humanity and human advancement.
Without that, no OT. And that would just be sad.

80s sound awesome

In terms of partying and sex and drugs it sounds wild. Could dick around in college and find a nice job and ride that sweet sweet dot com boom afterwards.

Although 2010s were pretty legit. Download an app on your phone and send a few messages and a few snaps and you’re knee deep in prime pussy. Although the political atmosphere and overall society mood is more confusing than the overall optimism of the 80s.

I always wondered if sex was as easy in the 80s as it is these days. Like I would imagine so but not sure.

In the 90s, black women wore this outfit that I haven't seen since:
capris pants, with white k-swiss, tshirts with bottom tied into a knot to expose midriff and belly ring, with bucket hats, and hoop earrings...omgggg!!
