Was there a better time in America than the early to mid/late 1990's?

Grunge

MTV played music

Cable was easy to watch without OCD over everything that is on.

X-Files, Seinfeld, Friends, etc..

Economy was absolutely awesome.

Michael Jordan became the GOAT.

People were in their feels, but rather peace seemed to be rampant outside the drug war (which never ends).

Politics wasn't as cut throat and obscene. People seemed calmer and happier.

Bill Clinton was a great president.

Etc.. etc...

Yes, the 1980s.

Economy was rocking. Party was on. Reagan was POTUS.

Women with big hair. Great music. Sex and cocaine all over the place.

I want to go back.

I was quoting the OP.

It sounds like he's ok with everything except 99. And 98 may be only the first half of the year.
